Bryan Vasquez is a Certified Addiction Treatment Counselor and has been integrated in the addiction field for over a decade. Bryan has worked extensively in psychiatric hospitals, residential and outpatient addiction programs performing both group and individual counseling. Bryan is a certified SMART facilitator as well as Friends and Family facilitator and is versed in traditional as well as holistic modalities for treating addiction.
Dr. Perry Passaro Ph.D
Perry Passaro, Ph.D. is a licensed psychologist and a licensed educational psychologist. He is a Diplomate in cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT) and provides CBT in working with children, adolescents and adults in both individual and group settings. Dr. Passaro is a certified SMART facilitator as well as a Friends and Family facilitator who works collaboratively with Mr. Vasquez and Dr. Schneider in providing an integrated treatment for individuals in recovery with dual diagnosis. Dr. Passaro has been identified as one of the Top Ten Psychologists in Orange County, CA. His office is at the Anxiety and Depression Treatment Center in Newport Beach.
Dr. Alan Schneider M.D. DABAM
Dr. Alan Schneider, MD is a board-certified psychiatrist in Corona del Mar and Sherman Oaks, California. He is affiliated with the USC Keck School of Medicine as a Clinical Assistant Professor of Psychiatry & Behavioral Sciences. He is board certified in Psychiatry & Neurology, Geriatric Psychiatry, and Addiction Medicine. Dr. Schneider was the former chemical dependency director for Veterans Affairs Los Angeles, lectured extensively on opiates and is a pharmacology researcher.
Dr. Tom Horvath, Ph.D
Tom Horvath, Ph.D., is a licensed and board certified (ABPP) clinical psychologist. From 2000-2010 Dr. Horvath was adjunct faculty at the School of Leadership and Education Sciences, University of San Diego, where he helped leaders in all fields develop their leadership and executive potential. From 2010-2018 he was adjunct faculty at the California School of Professional Psychology at Alliant International University in San Diego, teaching addictive behavior courses. He is the author of Sex, Drugs, Gambling & Chocolate: A Workbook for Overcoming Addictions (2nd ed.; Impact, 2003), is one of the founders of SMART Recovery (in 1994) and was president of SMART Recovery for 20 years. He was the Secretary-Treasurer (1995-98) of the American Psychological Association’s Society of Addiction Psychology (Division 50), and served as President from 1999-2000. He is a fellow of the American Psychological Association, and the Association for Behavioral and Cognitive Therapies. Dr. Horvath serves as an advisor and consultant for Realize Recovery.
