Jordanne Bakewell, LMFT

Jordanne Bakewell is a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist in the state of California and specializes in working with co-occurring disorders, anxiety, depression, and crisis management. She believes developing rapport and a strong therapeutic relationship is paramount in overcoming and working through addiction and life challenges and puts her emphasis on client centered treatment modalities.

Jordanne understands there is no one-size-fits-all model and strives to use a multidisciplinary approach in order to address the individual needs of each client and situation. She has worked with a wide range of populations from children, adolescents, couples, first responders and veterans. Utilizing approaches from Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Humanistic, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy and other client-centered approaches, Jordanne seeks to meet each client where they are and collaboratively works to find solutions and alternative perspectives that facilitate growth.

Jordanne uses techniques and a compassion focused framework which has served to help her process and overcome her own mental health struggles. Being a wife and mother herself, Jordanne understands the challenges behavioral problems and mental health can play within the family unit and seeks to find pathways for clients personal and collective improvements.

When Jordanne is not working, she enjoys anything outdoors. From dirt bike riding, hiking and off road sports, she feels at home being disconnected from screens periodically and experiencing the joy of outdoor activities coupled with family time.
